Tool needed: Muffin tin
Serving: Makes 6 individual muffins
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup of milk
1/4 Cup of unsalted butter
1 jumbo peach
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 sprigs fresh basil
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Melt your butter, set aside.
Dice your peach, chiffonade your basil and set aside.
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl whisk the egg and milk together.
Add your peaches, basil, cheese and all the wet ingredients into your flour mixture, and stir carefully with a spatula.
Stir until all ingredients are just combined (be careful not to overmix).
